The short version
ArcLaunch stores the work you do in it so that it is there when you come back. It does not sell your data, it does not use it to train models, and it does not show advertising. You can export everything on any plan, including the free one, and you can delete your account and take the export with you.
What ArcLaunch stores
An account record: your email address, your display name, a hashed password, and the workspaces you belong to.
Your workspace content: the ventures, customers, documents, formation records, compliance items, and conversations you create. This is the product. It is stored so the product works.
Operational records: sign-in times, a security audit log of actions taken in your workspace, and error diagnostics. The audit log exists so that you can see what happened in your own workspace, and it is scoped to your workspace alone.
Payment records: your plan, its status, and the identifiers Stripe gives us. Card numbers are handled by Stripe and never reach ArcLaunch servers.
Google account data
Connecting a Google account is optional. Nothing in ArcLaunch requires it, and disconnecting is available at any time from the Security Center.
When you do connect one, ArcLaunch requests exactly these permissions and no others:
| Google permission | What ArcLaunch does with it |
|---|---|
calendar.events | add and edit calendar events |
calendar.readonly | see your calendar |
drive.file | open the Drive files you hand to ArcLaunch |
drive.install | appear in Drive’s "Open with" menu |
userinfo.email | see your email address |
openid | confirm which Google account you are connecting |
ArcLaunch does not request permission to read your Gmail, to list or browse the contents of your Drive, or to see files you have not handed to it. The Drive permission it uses reaches only files you explicitly pick, or files ArcLaunch itself created.
Use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In plain terms: this data is used only to provide the features you can see in ArcLaunch, it is not transferred to anyone except as needed to provide those features or where the law requires it, it is not used for advertising, and it is not used to train models. No person reads it except where you have asked for support and agreed to it, or where security or the law requires it.
Access and refresh tokens are encrypted before they are written to storage. Disconnecting an account deletes the stored tokens, and you can additionally revoke ArcLaunch from your Google account security settings at any time.
Who else sees your data
ArcLaunch uses a small number of service providers to run the product. Each one sees only what it needs:
- Stripe, for payments. It receives your billing details directly and ArcLaunch never sees your card number.
- The hosting provider that runs the servers and the database.
- Google, when and only when you have connected a Google account, for the permissions listed above.
Your data is not sold, rented, or shared for advertising. If ArcLaunch is ever acquired, this policy travels with the data and you would be told before anything changed.
Keeping and deleting
You control retention. Workspace settings let you set how long conversations and connector records are kept, and a scheduled job enforces what you set.
Delete your account and the workspace content goes with it. Some records are kept longer where the law requires it, such as invoices for tax purposes, and backups age out on their own cycle rather than being edited in place.
Getting your data out
Export is available on every plan, including the free one. This is deliberate. Data you cannot leave with is not really yours.
Children
ArcLaunch is a business tool and is not directed at children. Accounts are for people old enough to enter a contract where they live.
Changes and contact
This policy changes when the product changes. The date at the top moves when the substance moves, and material changes are announced in the app rather than only here.
